NOTE: Due to time constrains, it was not possible to add sound or music to the game. I've noted this for future updates.

Welcome to The Line! I hope you enjoy your stay.

Make the line move forward and get everybody (or as most as possible) to the finish line.

Control an entire line of old ladies who want to pay for their groceries and get out as soon as possible.

Would you make it out of The Line?

Key features

  • Tired of controlling one character? Now you can control ALL OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME!
  • The ladies have different attributes, no one jumps the same highs as others! (seriously, it could be frustrating sometimes…)
  • Get through 15 levels (give or take) of awesome puzzle-platforming.
  • Find surprising obstacles and items to avoid them (or not, it depends on the line, really…)

Controls

Move the line
- To the right
- To the left
- Jump
Retry the aisle
"Fast Check-out"
(Leave the remaining ladies in the aisle behind.)

NOTE: Only works if you've reached the minimum needed to win the level.

Very good concept! Level design could be better, more iterated and focused. Other than that, super good exercise for a jam. Props on using Construct!

Thank you for your feedback! I agree with you. In fact, one of my learnings from this experience was to allocate time for more iteration (especially with the level design part)

If you have any actionable note, or you remember any specifics while you were playing, I'd love to hear about it. We can talk via mail or DM if you want :)

PS: Construct FTW!

I think there is some great potential here! Has a puzzle Pico Park flavor. Pm me on Discord: clovelt
